Salary

Successful applicants will receive:

  • R214.92 per hour
  • Working hours will not exceed 180 hours per month
  • During the first three months of training, candidates will receive a stipend of R8,174.75
  • Approved kilometre claims will be reimbursed according to the applicable government tariff

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
  • Diploma, Advanced Certificate, or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in one of the following or a related discipline:
    • Social Sciences
    • Psychology
    • Counselling
    • Investigation
    • Social Work
    • Criminology
    • Other relevant qualifications
  • At least one year of experience in:
    • Administration or client interaction, or
    • Field investigation or evaluation.
  • A valid South African driver’s licence.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Planning and preparing vetting files and related administrative documentation.
  • Conducting documentary enquiries.
  • Performing vetting investigations through interviews.
  • Gathering and analysing relevant information.
  • Preparing professional investigation reports.
  • Submitting completed reports to the Director of Vetting Management.
  • Assisting with the implementation and improvement of vetting policies, procedures, and standards.
