Position Available
Italian & Swedish Tour Consultant
The successful candidates will be responsible for assisting international clients throughout the booking process, preparing customized travel itineraries, coordinating safari arrangements, and ensuring excellent customer service before, during, and after each trip.
Key Responsibilities
The Tour Consultant will be responsible for:
- Managing customer inquiries, bookings, and payments through WhatsApp, email, and phone calls while providing prompt and professional responses.
- Preparing detailed travel itineraries based on clients’ travel preferences and confirmed bookings.
- Generating invoices for confirmed reservations and following up on customer payments.
- Collecting customer feedback after safari experiences and professionally handling any concerns.
- Communicating booking updates and itinerary changes before and during clients’ trips.
- Resolving travel-related issues promptly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable safari experience.
- Contributing to weekly and monthly sales targets through excellent customer service and effective tour sales.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Excellent spoken and written proficiency in Italian or Swedish.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the travel industry, particularly in tour consulting or hotel operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience selling travel packages to Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and other East African destinations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple client requests simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work varied hours when required.
