The bank is currently recruiting for the following positions:
1. Manager / Officer Credit
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Accountancy, Finance, or Business Administration and Management.
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience in a bank or financial institution, with at least 3 years in branch operations, preferably in the credit department.
- Experience in processing and analyzing credit proposals, monitoring borrower accounts, recovery of irregular borrower accounts, trade finance, and canvassing credit business.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication (written and oral), computer literacy (including Excel), and ability to mobilize customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process loan proposals, including disbursement, LC opening, SBLC, and bank guarantees.
- Analyze balance sheets to assess credit limits and conduct physical inspection of loan securities.
- Ensure proper documentation before disbursement.
- Monitor borrower accounts, scrutinize transactions, and supervise credit department vouchers.
- Follow up on recovery of interest, loan installments, and overdue amounts in NPA accounts.
- Liaise with lawyers, valuers, and recovery agents.
- Prepare returns and reports for regulators and Head Office.
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of all credit-related documents.
- Actively canvass business for the bank.
2. General Manager
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Attributes:
- Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Risk, or Compliance.
- CPA qualification is an added advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in a commercial bank, including 3 years in a senior leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of bank credit and lending portfolio management, credit risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Excellent leadership, strategic, and analytical skills.
- Good communication skills, computer literacy (including Excel), and ability to mobilize customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall functioning of the bank’s operations and departments, including Credit, Risk and Compliance, Human Resources, and Branches.
- Report directly to the Managing Director/Board.
- Revise and update bank policies annually for Board/Regulator approval.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies and analyze risk scenarios for Board agendas.
- Act as Convener of the EXCO Committee.
- Maintain liaison with statutory authorities, including TRA, other banks, BOT, and corporate customers.
- Ensure compliance with BOT regulations and internal bank policies.
- Manage vendor relationships and actively canvass business for the bank.
