Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the UI Claims Officer position, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
- 0–6 months working experience (entry-level applicants welcome)

- Public Service Act & Public Service Regulations

Key Responsibilities
As a UI Claims Officer, your duties will include:
- Receiving and assessing Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Registering employers and verifying employee declarations
- Processing and executing approved claim payments within set timeframes
- Responding to enquiries regarding processed claims
- Performing administrative support duties within the section
This role plays a critical part in supporting unemployed individuals through efficient and accurate claims processing.
