The HR Supervisor – Employee Relations will oversee daily human resource operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring full compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and internal company policies, including those aligned with the Chinese headquarters.

The role focuses on managing employee relations, performance management, and HR administration while fostering effective communication and a productive working environment between local employees and Chinese management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance and Employee Relations
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and regulations
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters
- Act as a liaison between local employees and Chinese management
2. HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
- Assist in HR policy development and implementation
- Coordinate payroll inputs and statutory compliance
3. Performance Management and Training
- Support employee performance management processes
- Coordinate training and staff development programs
4. Reporting and Work Environment
- Prepare regular HR reports for management
- Support workplace health and safety standards
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Knowledge and Skills
Essential:
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment
Preferred:
- Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage
