The Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TANTRADE) has officially announced temporary employment opportunities for qualified university students to participate in the upcoming 2026 Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF), popularly known as the SabaSaba Exhibition, TANTRADE Volunteer Vacancies for SabaSaba International Trade Fair 2026
The opportunities are aimed at providing students with valuable practical experience while supporting the smooth operation of one of Tanzania’s largest annual trade exhibitions. The 50th DITF is scheduled to take place at the Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere Trade Fair Grounds along Kilwa Road in Dar es Salaam.
Opportunity for University Students
According to the announcement issued by TANTRADE’s Director General on 2 June 2026, university students who meet the required qualifications are invited to apply for volunteer positions during the exhibition period.
Successful applicants will work throughout the exhibition, which is expected to run from 28 June 2026 to 16 July 2026. The initiative offers students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event management, customer service, trade promotion, business networking, and public engagement. The Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair attracts thousands of exhibitors, business professionals, government institutions, investors, and visitors from Tanzania and abroad every year, making it an excellent learning environment for young professionals.
