The successful applicant will work alongside engineers, architects, technicians and project teams to ensure that construction works are accurately positioned and implemented according to approved designs and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

The Land Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting topographic, boundary and as-built surveys using modern surveying equipment.
  • Operating Total Station, GPS, GNSS and RTK surveying equipment.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate survey records, maps, reports and legal descriptions.
  • Interpreting construction drawings and specifications to determine project layouts.
  • Setting out construction works, including roads, buildings, pipelines and utilities.
  • Verifying the accuracy of survey measurements, calculations and collected field data.
  • Working closely with civil engineers, architects, technicians and project or construction managers.
  • Monitoring survey work and reporting discrepancies between actual site layouts and design plans.
  • Ensuring surveying activities comply with applicable legal standards and health and safety requirements.
  • Using CAD and GIS software to prepare detailed site plans and layouts.
  • Supervising and coordinating junior surveyors or survey crews when required.

  • GPS
  • AutoCAD
