Job Summary

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with a rating on at least one fleet type.
• Possess a valid CPL with Instrument Rating, Multi-Engine Land Rating and the appropriate aircraft type ratings.
• Have an ATR 42/72 rating with a minimum of 300 total flying hours, including at least 50 hours on multi-engine aircraft.
• Have at least 1,500 total flying hours, of which 500 hours must be on type or equivalent.
• Demonstrate English Language Proficiency Level 4.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) licence will be an added advantage.

Job Summary

The Captain, also known as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC), will plan, supervise and operate company flights while ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and company procedures.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the safety of passengers, crew, cargo and aircraft while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, safety and cost-effectiveness. The role also requires effective application of Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles throughout flight operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a university graduate, hold an equivalent diploma or possess relevant Flight/Cargo Operations qualifications.
• Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with a current ATR 72-500 and ATR 42-500/600 type rating.
• Have a minimum of 3,500 total flying hours, including at least 1,500 hours in command.
• Have a minimum of 500 hours in command on type.
• Possess at least two years of experience in commercial air transport operations.
• Meet licence qualification and recency requirements in accordance with the General Operations Manual (GOM) and Tanzania Civil Aviation Regulations (TCARs).
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A TCAA licence and previous customer service experience in the airline industry will be added advantages.
