The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced the schedule for the first-stage interviews for applicants who applied for various job positions advertised on 14 August 2026. Following the completion of the application screening process, shortlisted candidates will attend the first-stage interview from 22 September 2026 to 24 September 2026. Candidates are required to attend the interview at the date, time and centre specified in the attached list of shortlisted applicants.

Interview Stage: First Stage
The first-stage interviews will be conducted electronically for each job category listed in the interview schedule. Candidates must report to their assigned interview centres by 1:30 AM to allow enough time for the interview arrangements before the scheduled start time.
Documents Required for the Interview
Shortlisted candidates must bring the required original documents and identification. Candidates who fail to meet these requirements may not be allowed to participate in the interview.
1. Valid Identification
Each candidate must bring a valid government-recognised identification document bearing their photograph. Accepted identification documents include:
- National Identification Card (NIDA)
- Passport
- Residence Permit/Identification
- Voter’s Identification Card
- Driving Licence
2. Original Academic Certificates
Candidates must bring their original certificates, depending on the qualifications required for the position they applied for. These may include:
- Birth Certificate
- Form Four Certificate
- Form Six Certificate
- Certificate
- Diploma
- Advanced Diploma
- Bachelor’s Degree
Photocopies of certificates will not be accepted. Candidates who arrive without their original certificates will not be permitted to take the interview.
3. Certificates Obtained Outside Tanzania
Candidates who completed their studies outside Tanzania must provide evidence that their academic certificates have been verified by the relevant authority. Depending on the qualification, verification may be required from:
- TCU
- NACTVET
- NECTA
Dress Code and Personal Expenses
Candidates are required to attend the interview wearing clean, decent and appropriate clothing. Each candidate will also be responsible for their own:
- Food
- Transport
- Accommodation
Documents That Will Not Be Accepted
The Judicial Service Commission has stated that certain documents will not be accepted during the interview process. These include:
- Testimonials
- Provisional Results
- Statements of Results
- Form Four results slips
- Form Six results slips
A candidate who presents any of these documents instead of the required original certificates will not be allowed to proceed with the interview.
Remember Your JSC Application Login Details
All shortlisted candidates must remember the email address and password they used when submitting their applications through the Judicial Service Commission recruitment system. Attend Your Assigned Interview Centre
Every shortlisted candidate must attend the interview at the interview centre assigned to them. Candidates should carefully check the published list of shortlisted applicants to confirm their assigned centre, interview date and time. Candidates should not attend a different centre from the one allocated to them.
What Happens After the First Interview?
Candidates who successfully pass the first-stage interview will be informed about the date, time and procedure for the next stage of the recruitment process. The next stage may involve:
- Oral Interview
- Practical Interview
- Oral and Practical Interview

Shortlisted candidates are advised to prepare all their original documents in advance and ensure that they remember the login details used during the application process. Candidates should also arrive at their assigned interview centre by 1:30 AM, ahead of the scheduled 2:00 AM start time.
