The Geita Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (GEUWASA) has officially announced the commencement of interviews for candidates who applied for various positions recently advertised by the authority. The interviews are scheduled to take place from 17 to 18 July 2026, with the aim of filling the vacant posts.
Only applicants whose names appear on the official shortlist are invited to attend the interviews. Candidates are advised to carefully check the interview schedule for their respective dates, times, and venues and to arrive promptly as indicated.
Documents Required for the Interview
All shortlisted candidates must bring a valid means of identification for verification purposes. Accepted forms of identification include:
- National Identity Card (NIDA)
- National Identification Number (NIN)
- Passport
- Introduction letter from the relevant village or street government office
Applicants are also required to present the original copies of all academic and professional certificates, including birth certificates, Form IV and Form VI certificates, diplomas, degrees, and any other qualifications relevant to the position applied for. It is important to note that testimonials, provisional results, statements of results, and Form IV or Form VI result slips will not be accepted and will disqualify a candidate from participating in the interview.
Additional Instructions
Candidates who obtained qualifications outside Tanzania must ensure that their certificates have been authenticated by the relevant authorities, such as TCU, NACTVET, or NECTA. Those whose names differ across official documents must provide a valid deed poll or legal proof of name change.
Interviewees will be responsible for their own transport, accommodation, and meal expenses. GEUWASA has further emphasized that the recruitment process is free from corruption and that offering or accepting bribes is strictly prohibited. Failure to report at the specified venue and time will be considered a withdrawal from the recruitment process.
