Reporting and Responsibilities

Eligibility and Requirements

To qualify for the FAO Internship Programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate programme in a recognized institution.
  • The university must be listed in the World Higher Education Database (WHED) by UNESCO.
  • Field of study must be relevant to FAO’s mission.
  • Age: 21 to 30 years old.
  • Language: Working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish). A second FAO language is an advantage.
  • Must be a national of an FAO Member country, also
  • Must be able to work effectively in a multicultural environment and demonstrate good communication skills.

Important Notes

  • FAO does not charge any fees at any stage of recruitment.
