About the Role
The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist will play a vital role in implementing, enforcing, and continuously improving cybersecurity controls across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, auditors, developers, and external partners to ensure that all systems remain secure, compliant, and resilient against emerging cyber threats.
This is more than just a technical position — it is a strategic role that combines technical execution, risk management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate should be capable of bridging the gap between technology operations and compliance frameworks while maintaining secure digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be expected to perform a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Support regulatory compliance and audit processes in line with BoT requirements
- Implement Secure SDLC and DevSecOps practices across development teams
- Manage vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
- Monitor security tools and incident response systems
- Strengthen cloud, API, and platform security controls
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams on security best practices
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and compliance culture across departments
Additionally, the specialist will help maintain proper documentation, evidence reporting, and security dashboards to ensure transparency and readiness for both internal and external audits.
Technical Expertise Required
We are looking for a professional with strong hands-on experience in:
- Application Security
- DevSecOps
- Vulnerability Management
- Cloud Security
- API Security
- CI/CD Pipeline Security
- Kubernetes and Container Security
- AWS / Hybrid Cloud Environments
Experience working with security tools such as:
- AWS GuardDuty
- Nessus / Tenable
- CodeQL
- SonarQube
will be considered a strong advantage.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, applicants should possess:
- At least 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity
- Experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payments industries preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulated environments
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Computer Science
- Cyber Security
- Information Technology
Preferred certifications include:
- CEH
- OSCP
- ISO 27001
- CISSP / CISM
- AWS Security Certification
