1. Medical Doctor II – (5 Positions)

Required Qualifications

Applicants must possess:

A Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized university.
Completion of an approved internship program.
Registration with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
A valid practicing license.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

Providing medical services including treatment of general diseases, pediatric conditions, maternal health issues, and emergency or minor surgical procedures.
Conducting preventive healthcare and community health activities.
Designing strategies to combat communicable diseases.
Supervising hospital staff in wards and other working areas.
Providing counselling services to patients and the community.
Teaching students from medical training institutions.
Supporting professional development of hospital staff.
Conducting research on diseases and sharing findings with the community.
Planning, monitoring, and evaluating health service delivery.
Performing other duties assigned by supervisors.

Salary Scale

The position falls under Government Salary Scale TGHS E1.
However, in accordance with the National Guidelines for Volunteering Health Professionals, contract employees will receive half of the standard monthly government salary for this scale.

2. Radiographer II – (2 Positions)

Required Qualifications

Applicants must have:

Completion of Ordinary or Advanced Secondary Education.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography or Radiation Science (X-Ray) from the University of Dar es Salaam or any other government-recognized institution.

Duties and Responsibilities

Selected candidates will perform the following tasks:

Conduct medical imaging examinations using radiation science technologies.
Ensure radiology equipment is well maintained and functioning properly.
Assist doctors in the initial interpretation of radiological images.
Process and store radiology images and records.
Perform minor maintenance of equipment.
Carry out other duties related to their professional knowledge, experience, and skills as assigned by supervisors.

Salary Scale

The position falls under Government Salary Scale TGHS B1.
Contract employees will receive half of the government salary for this grade, as outlined in the national guidelines.

General Requirements for All Applicants

Must be a Tanzanian citizen aged between 18 and 45 years.
Must attach a copy of their birth certificate.
Must submit a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) with reliable contact information and three referees including their phone numbers.

Certificates must be certified by a lawyer or commissioner for oaths.
