School of Nursing (SONU)
1. Assistant Lecturer (1 Post)
- Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
- Reports to: Dean, School of Nursing (SONU)
- Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent degree
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0 at undergraduate level and 4.0/5.0 at Master’s level
- Must be registered with TNMC
- Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and prepare case studies
- Assist senior faculty in research, consultancy, and special projects
- Supervise undergraduate student projects and practicals
- Participate in curriculum development, workshops, conferences, and faculty training
- Mark and grade examinations and tests
- Promote excellence in all departmental service programs
- Perform any other duties assigned by competent authority
- Tenure: Fixed-term contract of 4 years, renewable based on performance
- Salary: According to SJUT Scheme of Service
2. Tutorial Assistant (2 Posts)
- Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
- Reports to: Dean, School of Nursing (SONU)
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Laboratory Sciences and Technology
- Minimum GPA of 3.5/5.0
- Must be registered with relevant authorities (e.g., MeLSAT)
- Experience in tertiary institutions is an advantage
- Main Responsibilities:
- Assist senior staff in lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions
- Support research, consultancy, and outreach activities
- Assist in marking and invigilation
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental service programs
- Perform any other duties assigned
- Tenure: Fixed-term contract of 4 years, renewable
- Salary: According to SJUT Scheme of Service
3. Medical Laboratory Technician – MLT (1 Post)
- Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
- Reports to: Dean, School of Nursing (SONU)
- Qualifications:
- Ordinary Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/5.0
- Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise practical duties for medical laboratory students
- Assist in repair and maintenance of laboratory facilities
- Support research, consultancy, and service activities
- Perform other assigned duties
- Tenure: Fixed-term contract of 4 years, renewable
- Salary: According to SJUT Scheme of Service
Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FaNAS)
Laboratory Technician – Chemistry (1 Post)
- Duty Station: SJUT Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
- Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FaNAS)
- Qualifications:
- Ordinary Diploma in Laboratory Technology or Laboratory Sciences
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/5.0
- Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise practical duties for chemistry students
- Assist in repair and maintenance of laboratory facilities
- Support research, consultancy, and service activities
- Perform other assigned duties
- Tenure: Fixed-term contract of 4 years, renewable
- Salary: According to SJUT Scheme of Service
