Job Overview
Bakhresa Food Products Ltd is seeking a competent Logistics Officer to support efficient logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will ensure the timely, cost-effective, and well-coordinated movement of goods in line with company requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Ensure timely delivery of goods in accordance with company standards
- Prepare, verify, and maintain accurate logistics documentation and records
- Liaise with transporters, suppliers, clearing agents, and internal departments
- Monitor inventory levels and support stock control and reconciliation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization
- Address and resolve logistics-related issues and delays
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of logistics procedures and documentation
- Excellent organizational, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
