Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations and ensuring efficient inventory management. Duties include:
- Ensuring daily warehouse operations run efficiently and safely.
- Planning and implementing work schedules and staff assignments.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock verification.
- Preparing work schedules and coordinating workflow.
- Issuing written and verbal instructions to warehouse staff.
- Assigning duties and standardizing warehouse procedures to improve efficiency.
- Reviewing operational records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Preparing departmental reports and recommending improvements to enhance performance.
- Coordinating warehouse activities with other departments and supervisors.
- Ensuring employees receive appropriate training before performing assigned duties.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Reporting unsafe working conditions and communicating potential hazards.
- Ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or an equivalent qualification.
- 2–3 years of working experience in the tobacco industry.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
