The National Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (NACTVET) has officially announced the opening of admissions for students who wish to join Certificate (Astashahada) and Diploma (Stashahada) programmes for the March 2026/2027 intake. Vyuo Vinavyodahili Mkupuo wa Machi 2026/2027, According to the public notice, the admission process started on 10 February 2026 and will end on 28 February 2026. This admission exercise covers all programmes, except Health-related programmes in Tanzania Mainland, which follow a different admission arrangement and timetable.

Admissions Apply Only to NACTVET-Approved Colleges

NACTVET has clearly stated that admissions are only being conducted in colleges that are:

  • Officially registered
  • Verified and accredited
  • Approved by NACTVET to enroll students

This means applicants are strongly advised to avoid unregistered institutions, as studying in a non-approved college may lead to invalid certificates and future challenges in employment or further studies.

Who Should Apply?

NACTVET has encouraged all qualified applicants to submit their applications, including:

  • Secondary school graduates who meet entry requirements
  • College graduates who wish to upgrade their qualifications
  • Applicants eligible for Certificate or Diploma programmes

Applicants are advised to apply directly to the college of their choice, without using unofficial agents or middlemen.

Selection and Verification Process

After colleges receive applications, they will conduct the selection process based on qualifications and available spaces. Names of selected applicants will then be submitted to NACTVET for verification.
