Tumbi Regional Referral Hospital has officially announced new volunteer opportunities for qualified Tanzanians seeking to gain professional experience in the healthcare sector. The volunteer positions are intended to support the hospital’s operations while providing successful applicants with valuable workplace exposure.
According to the announcement issued by the Medical Officer In-Charge, the volunteer placements will be based at Tumbi Regional Referral Hospital in Kibaha, Pwani Region.
Available Volunteer Positions
The hospital is inviting applications for the following positions:
1. Assistant Nursing Officer II – 10 Positions
Applicants must possess a Diploma in Nursing from a government-recognized institution and be registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
2. Health Assistant – 5 Positions
Candidates should have completed Form Four and obtained a certificate in Health Assistance or Environmental Health from a recognized institution.
3. Nurse/Clinical Officer Anaesthetist – 2 Positions
Applicants must have completed professional training in Nursing or Clinical Medicine and possess qualifications in anaesthesia and the administration of anaesthetic drugs from a recognized institution.
4. Public Relations Officer – 1 Position
Candidates should hold a certificate or diploma in Public Relations, Journalism and Mass Communication, or a related field from a recognized institution.
5. Customer Care Officer – 2 Positions
Applicants must have completed secondary education and possess qualifications in Customer Service, Public Relations, Marketing, Communication, or Business Administration from a recognized institution.
General Requirements
All applicants must:
- Be Tanzanian citizens.
- Be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- Submit copies of academic and professional certificates.
- Attach an updated Curriculum Vitae (CV).
- Include a copy of a National Identification Card (NIDA) or NIDA number.
- Provide copies of birth certificates and other relevant supporting documents certified by appropriate authorities.
