The Embassy of the United Republic of Tanzania in Japan is pleased to announce an online training opportunity for students from secondary school level through postgraduate level, offered by the University of Tokyo through its Matsuo-Iwasawa Laboratory.
The training focuses on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Python, Machine Learning, and the application of data in business. The training is offered free of charge to eligible participants.
Training Period
17 September – 17 December 2026
The program will run for approximately three months.

- Data Science
- Python programming
- Machine Learning
- Data processing
- Data visualization and presentation
- SQL
- Applications of Data Science in business
- Artificial Intelligence
Participants who successfully complete the program requirements will be awarded a certificate.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a student from secondary school level through doctoral (PhD) level.
- Be enrolled at a recognized educational institution.
- Be an active student at the time the program begins.
- Have the ability to learn independently.
- Be willing to participate actively and complete all training requirements.
How to Apply
Applicants should follow these steps:
1. Register Your Educational Institution Email
Register using the email address provided by your educational institution.
If you do not have an institutional email address or the system does not accept it, use the designated option provided for applicants without an institutional email.
2. Create an OmniCampus ID
Create an OmniCampus ID using your personal Gmail address.
You will also be required to submit your student ID or another official document proving your enrollment at a recognized educational institution.
3. Wait for Verification
After your registration has been reviewed and approved, you will receive your OmniCampus login details.
4. Complete the Application
Log in to the OmniCampus system, select “GCI World 2026 September”, and complete the application process.
