Tosamaganga Regional Referral Hospital (TRRH) invites qualified and motivated Tanzanians to join its growing team. TRRH, established in 1968 by the Manintesse Youth Group under the supervision of Consolata Missionaries from Tulin-Italy, was inaugurated in 1970 by the late Mwl. Julius Kambarage Nyerere, the first President of Tanganyika. The hospital became a Regional Referral Hospital on 1st March 2024, officially inaugurated on 6th July 2024 by Hon. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Serving the southern part of Tanzania, TRRH manages approximately 5,000–6,400 patients per month, totaling 65,000–72,000 patients annually. It offers comprehensive services through its emergency, outpatient, surgical, medical, pediatric, obstetric, dental, laboratory, radiology, and specialized clinics.
1. Assistant Nursing Officer II – 5 Posts
Requirements & Skills:
- Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
- Registered with the Tanganyika Nurses and Midwifery Council (TNMC)
- Valid practicing license
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients
- Organize and assist clients and relatives toward patient well-being
- Maintain a harmonious working environment among personnel
- Liaise with staff across disciplines to promote patient welfare

- Administer appropriate doses of anesthesia
- Monitor patients’ vital signs during procedures
- Oversee patient safety in anesthesia recovery
- Evaluate patients before, during, and after procedures
- Perform administrative duties including ordering anesthesia supplies and training staff
- Support surgical and diagnostic procedures as required
