This internship is an essential requirement for all registered nursing and midwifery graduates who have completed their first degree and are ready to gain hands-on clinical experience under TNMC supervision.

About the TNMC Internship Program 2025

The TNMC Internship Program provides newly graduated nurses and midwives the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real healthcare environments across Tanzania. It aims to enhance their skills, strengthen ethical and professional practice, and prepare them for full registration and employment within the health sector.

Application Dates and Portal Access

Eligible applicants must submit their applications online through the official TNMC portal: https://tnmcis.tnmc.go.tz/

  • Opening Date: October 13, 2025, at 4:00 AM
  • Closing Date: October 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM

Applicants are strongly advised to apply early to avoid system congestion or last-minute technical issues.

  1. Copy of Birth Certificate
  2. National Identification Number (NIDA)
  3. Copies of Secondary Education Certificates (O-Level and A-Level)
  4. Valid License for Upgrading Students (if applicable)
  5. Recent Passport-Size Photo – 360x300mm, with a light blue background
  6. Indexing Number issued by the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council
