Impala is seeking a qualified and experienced Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at warehouse facilities in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating security service providers, managing access control and security systems, investigating incidents and strengthening overall security performance.

Key Responsibilities

The Security Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage security service providers in accordance with established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee security operations at static warehouse facilities.
• Monitor CCTV systems, access control and perimeter security.
• Manage and maintain effective access control procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly security reports.
• Respond promptly to security-related emails, telephone calls and requests.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare appropriate reports.
• Carry out route surveys and identify potential security risks.
• Conduct vendor audits to ensure compliance with required security standards.
• Monitor security performance and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Develop and implement continuous security improvement strategies.
• Provide security awareness training to relevant employees and stakeholders.
• Train personnel on security prevention, preparedness and response procedures.
• Support effective incident prevention and response across the assigned facilities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Previous military or police training will be an added advantage.
• Valid driving licence.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Swahili.
