- Annual Salary Range: US$ 93,097 – 99,643
Duration of Appointment
- Fixed-term contract of 4 years
- Renewable twice (each for another 4 years), subject to:
- Successful completion of a 6-month probation period
- Satisfactory performance
- Compliance with the mandatory retirement age (60 years)
- Continued need for the position
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
- Applicants must be 52 years or below
Education
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in:
- Integrated Water Resources Management
- Water Resources Engineering
- Hydrogeology
(From a recognized institution)
Specialized Knowledge
- Strong understanding of:
- Integrated programme planning and budgeting
- Development, administration, and monitoring of water programmes
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to the role
Experience
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in transboundary/multi-country water resource management
- At least 4 years in a managerial/leadership role
