Position Overview: Procurement Officer Intern
To strengthen its Procurement Department, CCBRT is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and enthusiastic Procurement Officer Intern. This internship provides valuable work exposure in procurement operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment — perfect for graduates eager to build their professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
As a Procurement Officer Intern, you will play an essential role in supporting the organization’s purchasing and logistics processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in assessing requisitions and channeling them to the appropriate procurement staff.
- Monitoring the progress of purchase orders and ensuring timely updates for user departments.
- Providing status reports on pending orders and procurement activities.
- Supporting urgent and emergency procurement needs by liaising with pre-approved suppliers.
- Ensuring fast-tracked approvals for critical purchases.
- Coordinating with the warehouse team for deliveries and updating the procurement lead.
- Maintaining compliance with CCBRT’s procurement procedures and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
To qualify for this exciting internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent field.
- Registered with PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Internet).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
