Position Overview: Procurement Officer Intern

To strengthen its Procurement Department, CCBRT is seeking a dynamic, proactive, and enthusiastic Procurement Officer Intern. This internship provides valuable work exposure in procurement operations within a fast-paced healthcare environment — perfect for graduates eager to build their professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Officer Intern, you will play an essential role in supporting the organization’s purchasing and logistics processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in assessing requisitions and channeling them to the appropriate procurement staff.
  • Monitoring the progress of purchase orders and ensuring timely updates for user departments.
  • Providing status reports on pending orders and procurement activities.
  • Supporting urgent and emergency procurement needs by liaising with pre-approved suppliers.
  • Ensuring fast-tracked approvals for critical purchases.
  • Coordinating with the warehouse team for deliveries and updating the procurement lead.
  • Maintaining compliance with CCBRT’s procurement procedures and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

To qualify for this exciting internship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or equivalent field.
  • Registered with PSPTB (Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Internet).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Eager to learn, adapt, and contribute to a collaborative team.
