Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing grid power projects and ensuring that electrical infrastructure works are properly planned, implemented and completed. Key duties include:
- Conducting site surveys and confirming grid requirements.
- Supervising line construction and electrical installations.
- Handling TANESCO applications and following up on approvals and related processes.
- Planning and coordinating project schedules and resources.
- Reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), controlling costs and managing project variations.
- Coordinating materials, logistics and transportation.
- Supervising contractors and monitoring team performance.
- Overseeing testing, commissioning and energization activities.
- Ensuring that health, safety and environmental (HSE) as well as quality standards are maintained.
- Liaising with clients and other stakeholders and preparing project reports.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Grid Power Projects Supervisor position should have:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- At least 3–5 years of practical experience in grid connection, power distribution or electrical infrastructure projects.
- Practical knowledge of HT/LV distribution networks, including 11kV and 33kV systems.
- Experience with transformers, pole lines, ACSR/ABC conductors, metering, earthing and protection systems.
- Ability to read and work with electrical drawings and BOQs.
- A valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania.

2. Data Centre Operations Supervisor

Key Requirements and Experience
Applicants for the Data Centre Operations Supervisor position should meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in data centre operations, telecommunications, facilities management, electrical maintenance or a related technical environment.
- 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience is an added advantage, particularly experience managing technical or site-based teams.
- Experience in staff scheduling, shift management, leave planning and deployment of technical teams in a 24/7 operational environment.
- Strong ability to prepare, review and submit operational reports accurately and on time.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to urgent operational and fault situations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, shifts, weekends and respond to emergencies or call-outs when required.
- Relevant professional registration or certification will be an added advantage.
