What Is the YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme?

Who Can Apply for the Nedbank YES Programme 2026?
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Must be 18 to 29 years old as of 1 May 2026
(born between 2 May 1997 and 1 May 2008) - Must have at least Matric (Grade 12), OR a post-matric qualification at one of the following levels:
- NQF Level 5: Higher Certificate
- NQF Level 6: Diploma
- NQF Level 7: Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must be South African-born African, Coloured, or Indian citizens, in line with the BBBEE Act definition of “black people”
- Must not have participated in a YES Programme with another organisation before
Programme Duration and Start Date
Successful applicants will be offered a 12-month fixed-term contract, giving them workplace exposure and hands-on experience.

Stipend Information
