Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College University (KCMC University) is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for eligible and highly motivated Tanzanian students to apply for a DANIDA-supported scholarship to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Immunology and Inflammation at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH), Denmark, KCMC University Scholarships 2026–2027.
This scholarship is offered under the University Partnership for Immunology and Vaccinology Capacity in Africa (UPIVAC Africa) project, a major initiative designed to strengthen immunology and vaccinology training across Africa.

Scholarship Coverage (Fully Funded for 2 Years)
The scholarship is fully funded for the entire two-year duration of the MSc programme and covers essential study-related costs, including:
- International return flight between Tanzania and Denmark
- Health and travel insurance for the full study period
- Monthly living stipend to cover accommodation and basic living expenses
A total of three (3) outstanding applicants will be awarded this scholarship through a competitive selection process.
About the UPIVAC Africa Project (2026–2032)
The UPIVAC Africa project aims to strengthen immunology and vaccinology capacity in Africa through:
- Joint education and training
- Research collaboration
- Innovation initiatives
The partnership will run from 2026 to 2032, and each year it will support six to eight African MSc students to enroll in the MSc in Immunology and Inflammation at UCPH, including a newly introduced Vaccinology module.
About the MSc in Immunology and Inflammation (UCPH)

Students will undertake extensive research-based dissertation work within established research groups, gaining strong hands-on skills, analytical knowledge, and international academic exposure.

Minimum Requirement
- A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.

- Letter of motivation (1 page)
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) (maximum 2 pages)
- Certified copies of certificates and academic transcripts (from Ordinary Level to Bachelor’s degree)
- Three (3) letters of recommendation from credible academic or professional referees
