Successful candidates may be required to work at any Judiciary station where there is an available vacancy.

1. Resident Magistrate II – 3 Posts

Salary Scale: TJS II

Applicants should have:

  • Certificate of Secondary Education Examination or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education.
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from a recognised university or higher learning institution.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law School of Tanzania.
  • Computer training will be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for judicial functions, including:

  • Hearing and determining criminal and civil matters within their jurisdiction.
  • Handling matrimonial and probate matters.

Duties and Responsibilities

Office Assistants will perform general office support duties, including:

  • Preparing and serving office tea.
  • Collecting and delivering mail.
  • Maintaining office equipment.

General Eligibility Requirements
