Branch Accountant (4 Positions)

- Dar es Salaam Airport

Job Summary
The Branch Accountant will be responsible for managing daily branch financial operations, maintaining accurate cash records, verifying customer payments, ensuring compliance with company financial policies, and providing financial support to both the Branch Manager and the Head Office Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing branch cash and maintaining an adequate daily cash float.
- Processing payments only after obtaining the required approval from the Head Office Finance Department.
- Maintaining the daily cashbook and submitting financial reports within the required timelines.
- Verifying supplier invoices before forwarding approved documents for payment processing.
- Coordinating timely updates of agent credit floats.
- Issuing accurate and timely Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) receipts.
- Ensuring compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily branch financial activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants should possess:
- A Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good reconciliation and record-keeping abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
