Available Positions
1. Treasury FI & MM Dealer
Reporting Line: Head – Treasury
Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Bank’s money market, fixed income, and liquidity activities. The role focuses on ensuring adequate funding, regulatory compliance, efficient cash flow management, and income generation through approved Treasury instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with statutory reserve and liquidity requirements.
- Manage intraday cash flows and short-term funding needs.
- Maintain sufficient balances in nostro and clearing accounts.
- Invest surplus funds at competitive market rates.
- Generate income through money market and fixed-income instruments.
- Forecast funding requirements and future cash movements.
- Review borrowing and lending transactions for regulatory compliance.
- Prepare liquidity, ALM, ALCO, and mark-to-market reports.
- Monitor and manage investment portfolios, including government securities.
- Maintain active market participation to support funding and investment activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Commerce, Banking and Finance, or a related field.
- ACI Dealing Certificate.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong understanding of local and international financial markets.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Treasury, FX trading, money markets, or financial markets.
2. Officer – Treasury FX Sales
Reporting Line: Head of FX Sales
Job Purpose
To drive FX sales growth by developing client relationships, identifying Treasury business opportunities, and delivering suitable foreign exchange and Treasury solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide FX pricing and Treasury solutions to clients.
- Achieve assigned FX volume and income targets.
- Ensure best execution practices across FX transactions.
- Identify new business opportunities through client engagement.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with traders and sales teams to maximize revenue.
- Maintain an active client portfolio and call list.
- Support implementation of FX sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new Treasury opportunities.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACI Dealing Certificate.
- Strong sales, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Good understanding of financial markets and Treasury controls.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in FX Sales, Treasury, Relationship Management, or Financial Markets.
3. Assistant Manager – Treasury FX Trader
Reporting Line: Head – Treasury
Job Purpose
To achieve FX trading income and volume targets through active trading of spot, forward, and derivative products while managing market risk within approved limits.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute FX spot, forward, swap, and derivative transactions.
- Deliver assigned trading revenue and volume targets.
- Work closely with FX Sales teams to maximize trading opportunities.
- Manage daily FX positions within approved limits.
- Build relationships with local and international counterparties.
- Monitor currency markets and liquidity conditions.
- Identify and manage foreign exchange risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare Treasury reports and market updates.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACI Dealing Certificate.
- Strong understanding of FX markets, swaps, forwards, and derivatives.
- Knowledge of market risk management and Treasury controls.
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in Treasury, FX Trading, Money Markets, or Financial Markets.
4. FX Sales & Governance Lead – Treasury
Reporting Line: Head – Treasury
Job Purpose
The role combines Treasury governance responsibilities with Treasury sales support, ensuring regulatory compliance, strong risk management practices, and effective Treasury product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
FX Sales
- Structure Treasury products including FX, derivatives, and fixed-income solutions.
- Work closely with clients to understand their financial requirements.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with applicable regulations.
Treasury Operations
- Collaborate with IT teams to maintain efficient and secure Treasury systems.
- Support operational effectiveness across Treasury functions.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and update Treasury policies and procedures.
- Implement governance frameworks aligned with industry best practices.
- Monitor adherence to internal controls and risk management standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s Degree and professional certifications such as CFA or FRM will be an added advantage.
- ACI Dealing Certificate is mandatory.
Experience
- At least 5 years of Treasury experience with strong exposure to governance, compliance, and sales support.
