Internship Stipend
The Graduate Internship and Public Transport Internship positions offer a stipend of R8,174.75 per month, according to the qualification of each intern. The department states that the higher the qualification, the higher the applicable stipend. The Work Integrated Learning positions offer a stipend of R6,131.00 per month.

Important Application Information
- Applicants must satisfy the academic requirements for the advertised field of study.
- Candidates who have previously participated in the Department of Transport internship programme will be disqualified. The department also states that applicants who have participated in an internship programme in another government department or state entity may be terminated if this is discovered.
- Appointments are subject to verification of educational qualifications, previous experience where applicable, citizenship, reference checks and security vetting.
