1. Senior Specialist: Planning Alignment (Ref No. 10/2026)
Location: Pretoria
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and align Strategic Plans, Annual Performance Plans, Operational Plans, and Implementation Plans with government priorities.
- Oversee quarterly non-financial performance reporting for national departments and Schedule 3A public entities.
- Develop and implement institutional planning frameworks and strategies.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagements on planning and reporting processes.
- Lead and manage the Directorate while supporting cross-functional departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Social Science, Economics, Development Studies, Public Administration, Management, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years at middle or senior management level.
- NQF Level 8 qualification is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s licence.
2. Director: FSD Implementation (Ref No. 11/2026)
Location: Pretoria
Responsibilities
- Lead frontline monitoring and support initiatives to improve public service delivery.
- Coordinate annual planning, oversight monitoring, and knowledge management.
- Communicate monitoring outcomes and facilitate service delivery improvements.
- Manage Directorate resources effectively.
- Provide leadership in implementing monitoring policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Social Sciences, Public Administration, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years’ relevant public sector experience.
- At least 5 years at middle or senior management level.
- Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence.
3. Assistant Director: Management Accounting (Ref No. 12/2026)
Location: Pretoria
Responsibilities
- Prepare Annual and Interim Financial Statements.
- Provide financial planning and reporting.
- Manage departmental expenditure.
- Perform BAS System Controller functions.
- Supervise finance staff.
Qualifications
- Three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years’ finance experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience using the Basic Accounting System (BAS).
- Knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Modified Cash Standards, and SCM processes.
4. Assistant Director: Salaries, Tax and S&T (Ref No. 13/2026)
Contract: 12 Months (Renewable), Location: Pretoria
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll, salary claims, and commissioner payments.
- Process tax reconciliations and statutory submissions.
- Manage suspense accounts and financial reporting.
- Develop and review finance procedures and policies.
- Supervise staff within the Salaries, Tax and S&T unit.
Qualifications
- Three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) in Finance.
- At least 5 years’ experience in salaries and tax administration.
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory position.
- Extensive experience with BAS and PERSAL systems.
- Good knowledge of PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and relevant legislation.
