  • At least 5 years of middle or senior management experience in mining.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Key Duties

  • Manage the Mine Health and Safety Directorate.
  • Conduct and supervise inspections of underground, shaft, and surface mining operations.
  • Investigate mining accidents, occupational diseases, and safety complaints.
  • Test and license mining equipment such as winders, lifts, and boilers.
