1. Secretary

Reference: DHRSP/03/05/26/01
Directorate: Human Resource Strategy and Planning
Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05)
Centre: Armscor Building, Erasmuskloof, Pretoria

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
  • No experience required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong office administration, filing, organisational and interpersonal skills

Key Duties

  • Manage the Director’s diary and record appointments and events
  • Handle telephone calls and visitor reception
  • Type documents, memoranda, letters and reports
  • Compile agendas and take meeting minutes
  • Arrange meetings, venues and refreshments
  • Process travel and subsistence claims
  • Maintain filing systems and office equipment
  • Administer leave registers, roll call and telephone accounts
  • Procure standard office items

2. Administration Clerk: Production

Salary: R228 321 – R268 950 per annum (Level 05)
Centre: Western Cape Office, Simon’s Town

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
  • No experience required
  • Good communication and client-orientation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Computer literacy (MS Word & MS Excel)
  • Knowledge of PSAP personnel practices and HR prescripts
  • PERSOL system qualification (essential)

Key Duties

  • Provide clerical support in logistics and supply functions
  • Maintain and update stock registers
  • Assist with stocktaking and warehouse organisation
  • Process demands and purchasing according to PA’s
  • Safeguard and dispose of stores where required
  • Determine future stock levels and operational requirements
  • Issue and receive stock and keep stores clean and organised

Key Duties

  • Perform high-level clerical support in provisioning administration
  • Maintain stock records and assist with stocktaking
  • Process demands and purchasing
  • Safeguard and manage stores
  • Provide statistical feedback and determine stock requirements
  • Support operational readiness of the Base
