Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- A three-year relevant post-matric qualification (NQF Level 6) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
- A minimum of two (2) years’ administrative work experience.
- Good understanding of the Public Sector.
- Strong communication, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and perform effectively under pressure.
- Excellent office administration skills with strong attention to detail.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support to the Directorate and the Director’s Office.
- Coordinating Directorate activities, operational plans, and improvement plans.
- Providing secretariat support for meetings and examination-related committees.
- Consolidating reports and maintaining document archiving systems.
- Monitoring and tracking Directorate expenditure.
- Coordinating Department of Basic Education (DBE) and Umalusi bilateral meetings.
- Promoting effective communication, innovation, and efficient administrative processes within the Directorate.
