The Department of Agriculture (DOA) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for various vacancies advertised in DPSA Vacancy Circular 24 of 2026. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications before the closing date.

1. Campus Manager

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- National Diploma in Administration (NQF Level 6).
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in infrastructure support.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Public Service Regulations, Human Resource Management, procurement, infrastructure management, and budgeting.
- Computer literacy and strong administrative skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure maintenance and development projects.
- Oversee financial administration, procurement, and asset management.
- Coordinate transport, accommodation, security, and records management services.
- Supervise human resource administration and staff development.
- Handle customer enquiries and manage campus administrative functions.

2. Senior Safety Officer

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:
- National Diploma in Safety Management (NQF Level 6).
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in safety management.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation, security procedures, and emergency management.
- Computer literacy and report writing skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational health and safety risk assessments.
- Implement Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Supervise security operations and personnel.
- Maintain records of security breaches and incidents.
- Manage key control systems.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies.

3. Senior Driver Operator

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess:

- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in driving, operating machinery, and drilling.
- Valid Code EC Driver’s Licence.
- Valid operating certificate.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures and equipment maintenance.

- Operate drilling and construction equipment.
- Drill and repair boreholes.
- Construct agricultural infrastructure and disease control fencing.
- Transport officials, materials, and equipment.
- Maintain machinery, vehicles, and operational records.
