Job Purpose
The Data Analyst and Reporting Supervisor will manage, analyse, and report fundraising and supporter data to provide accurate and timely information for effective planning, performance monitoring, and achievement of fundraising objectives.
The position will also be responsible for supporting and managing Fundraising Management Information Systems, ensuring that fundraising data is properly collected, maintained, analysed, protected, and presented in a useful format for decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising Data Management
- Collect, manage, verify, and maintain accurate fundraising and supporter data.
- Ensure fundraising records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Organise and maintain databases containing supporter, contribution, pledge, and campaign information.
- Identify and resolve data inconsistencies, duplication, and inaccuracies.
- Ensure fundraising information is handled securely and confidentially.
2. Data Analysis
- Analyse fundraising performance and contribution data.
- Review pledges, campaigns, fundraising activities, and supporter trends.
- Identify patterns and changes in fundraising performance.

3. Fundraising Reporting

- Support strategic planning through reliable data and evidence.
7. Campaign and Channel Analysis
- Analyse the performance of fundraising campaigns and events.

8. Supporter Retention and Engagement

9. Regional Data Coordination

10. Supervision and Data Quality
- Supervise data entry and reporting activities.

- Maintain appropriate controls for protecting confidential supporter information.
- Promote accountability and accuracy among staff involved in data management and reporting.
11. Fundraising Information Systems
- Support the effective management of Fundraising Management Information Systems.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields:
- Data Analytics
- Statistics

- A related field
Professional Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in data analysis, reporting, fundraising, or a related field.
- Experience working with large datasets and preparing management reports.
- Experience in fundraising or supporter data management will be an added advantage.
- Experience managing donor or supporter databases and preparing fundraising reports will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills
Candidates should demonstrate strong practical skills in:
