Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related field from a recognized institution.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The ICT Officer II (Programmer) will be responsible for:
- Supporting and preparing standards for software, development methods, and security measures.
- Conducting in-house computer training for users on frequently used software.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining backend and frontend components.
- Implementing and managing API integrations with internal systems and external platforms.
- Developing secure and scalable server-side logic using CodeIgniter or Laravel frameworks.
- Creating clean, responsive, and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Configuring and supporting VPN technologies for secure remote connections.
- Optimizing database performance (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and managing data securely.
- Conducting system testing, debugging, patching, and deployment.
- Maintaining strict security protocols, encryption, and authentication.
- Documenting all system features, processes, and changes clearly.
- Providing technical support, training, and troubleshooting assistance to end-users.
- Collaborating with ICT, finance teams, and vendors to coordinate updates and improvements.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
