Position Overview
NIC is currently seeking 70 dynamic, proactive, and results-driven Tanzanians to join its growing team as Direct Sales Agents. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sales, customer engagement, and building long-term client relationships while contributing to the company’s strategic growth.
The selected candidates will play a key role in promoting insurance awareness and driving product uptake, while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Direct Sales Agent, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and engaging potential clients through networking, marketing campaigns, and direct outreach
- Actively participating in sales activations and promotional campaigns to achieve set targets
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure retention, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities
- Promoting both Life and General Insurance products to a wide customer base
- Achieving individual and team sales targets aligned with NIC’s strategic objectives
- Preparing and submitting regular sales performance reports
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A minimum of a Form IV certificate, with a Diploma or Degree being an added advantage
- Basic knowledge of insurance products and services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
- High level of organization, self-motivation, and attention to detail
- Commitment to achieving results and meeting deadlines
