Job Overview

E) Performance & Team Development

  • Drive logistics KPIs and monitor performance metrics.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications)

The role involves invoice verification, ERP posting, supplier reconciliations, tax support, reporting, and payment processing while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities (Main Duties)

The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Verifying vendors’ invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Verifying invoices against purchase orders and confirming goods/services were received before posting into ERP.
  • Posting supplier invoices into the ERP system.
  • Assisting in preparation and payments of VAT, excise duties, and other statutory payments.
  • Reviewing and preparing payment plans and processing vendor payments on time.
  • Assisting in preparation and posting of journal entries for monthly accruals and provisions.
  • Performing supplier account reconciliations.
  • Preparing reports and schedules required by management such as:
