2. Clearing and Forwarding Officer II – 1 Position

Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort and organize shipping and clearance documents from shippers and consignees
- Identify available and missing documents for assigned transactions
- Assess and recommend on the accuracy and completeness of shipping documents
- Recommend appropriate HS Codes for customs declarations
- Communicate with shippers/consignees regarding missing or required documents
- Draft customs declarations for submission to the Tanzania Revenue Authority
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Freight Clearing and Forwarding from a recognized institution
