Internship Details
- Position: Academic Intern
- Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Duration: Six (6) months
- Start Date: 17 August 2026
- End Date: 14 February 2027
- Monthly Salary: TZS 500,000
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist the Executive Director and perform a variety of duties, including:
- Researching and preparing Business Updates on current economic issues.
- Managing STCC’s social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram.
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of events such as conferences, cocktail receptions, and courtesy visits.
- Providing administrative support to the Chamber.
- Supporting communication and engagement with key partners and stakeholders.
- Performing analytical, editorial, and organizational assignments.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree obtained within the year preceding the start of the internship in one of the following or a related field:
- Economics
- Law
- International Relations
- Business Administration
- Tanzanian citizenship, or a valid residence and work permit covering the entire internship period.
Required Skills

- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
