Sales and Marketing Executive – Car Rental Services

Role Summary

Momara is seeking a Sales and Marketing Executive with three (3) years or more of proven experience in sales and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, converting prospects into customers, managing corporate accounts, and promoting the company’s car rental services through both digital and offline strategies. Experience in the tourism or travel industry will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales and Marketing Executive will be expected to:

  • Generate sales leads and convert prospects into long-term customers.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies across digital and offline channels.
  • Manage corporate accounts and negotiate contracts, pricing, and rental rates.
  • Coordinate promotions and partnerships with hotels, travel agents, and tour operators.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify business growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales performance reports, updates, and metrics for management review.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing, Hospitality Management, or any other related field.
  • A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in:
    • Car rental services
    • Transport services
    • Logistics or related industries
  • Tourism or travel industry experience is a strong advantage.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing including:
    • Social media marketing
    • Email campaigns
    • Basic analytics
    • Digital marketing strategies
  • Copywriting skills are an added advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Professional presentation and conduct.

Preferred Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should also demonstrate:

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Ability to work independently and also contribute in a small team environment.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Confidence in building partnerships and maintaining long-term client relationships.
