1. Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA)

Assistant Lecturer (Procurement and Logistics Management) – 2 Posts

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions under supervision
  • Prepare case studies and teaching/learning materials
  • Collaborate with senior staff on research and consultancy projects
  • Support supervision of students’ academic projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications and Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Procurement Management or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum GPA of 3.8 at postgraduate level
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Logistics Management
  • Minimum GPA of 3.5 at undergraduate level
  • All qualifications must be from recognized higher learning institutions

2. Tanzania Meteorological Authority (TMA)

Assistant Meteorological Officer II – 22 Posts

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in supervising meteorological data collection and analysis
  • Code, decode, and transmit weather and meteorological messages
  • Plot observations on weather charts
  • Operate radiosondes and pilot balloon systems for upper air observations
  • Process meteorological data and compute basic statistics
  • Receive, edit, and disseminate meteorological information
  • Ensure accuracy of collected data for various applications such as:
    • Agrometeorology
    • Hydrometeorology
    • Marine and environmental services
  • Support aviation meteorological data preparation and communication
  • Transmit aeronautical and weather information between aircraft and ground stations
  • Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Meteorology from a recognized institution

Salary Scale

  • As per TMA salary structure

General Conditions for Applicants

  • Must be a citizen of the United Republic of Tanzania
  • Must not exceed 45 years of age
    • For paramilitary institutions:
      • Non-degree holders: maximum 25 years
      • Degree holders: maximum 30 years
