General Qualifications

  • Tanzanian citizens aged 18 years or above.
  • Holders of recognized Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Postgraduate Diploma in Education (where applicable).
  • Graduates from accredited higher learning institutions recognized by the Government of Tanzania.

For teaching posts, applicants with education degrees or those with science/technical degrees plus a Postgraduate Diploma in Education are encouraged to apply.

Salary Scales

The salary levels vary depending on the job category, ranging from TGTS-C to TGTS-D for teachers and TGS-C to TGS-E for technical professionals. These scales follow the government’s established remuneration framework.
