The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by supporting the sales team with advanced technical solutions, building client trust, and securing high-value ICT infrastructure projects.
About the Role
The Network Presales Engineer serves as a bridge between technical engineering and business development. The position involves designing innovative network solutions, presenting them to clients, and ensuring alignment with both technical requirements and commercial objectives.
Working closely with strategic technology partners such as Huawei, Cisco, and Arista Networks, the engineer will help deliver cutting-edge solutions while optimizing profitability through vendor partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Technical Support
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle
- Support solution demonstrations and client presentations
Bid Management & Proposal Writing
- Lead the technical response for RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs
- Ensure proposals meet all client specifications and compliance requirements
Vendor Management & Strategic Partnerships
- Maintain strong knowledge of vendor portfolios and certifications
- Maximize revenue through partner programs, rebates, and tier benefits
Sales Enablement & Client Engagement
- Work with Key Account Managers across sectors such as BFSI, private sector, and government
- Identify, qualify, and support new business opportunities
Solution Design & Architecture
- Develop scalable and secure solutions across:
- Enterprise networking
- Cybersecurity systems
- Unified communications
- Physical security infrastructure
Lead Generation & Revenue Forecasting
- Actively contribute to business development by identifying and closing deals
- Meet monthly performance KPIs tied to revenue targets
Qualifications and Experience
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar presales or network engineering role
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
Required Certifications
- CCNA
- HCIA
- NSE4
- ET01 and ET15
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP
- HCIP
- NSE5
