Facility Location
Kisongo Health Centre is strategically located along Dodoma Road at the Kisongo Town Centre. The facility is approximately 800 meters from the tarmac road and is widely known as “Ghorofani.” The health centre is positioned to allow easy access for many residents and is among the few healthcare facilities serving the surrounding community.
Job Description
Kisongo Health Centre is seeking qualified professionals who will perform their duties according to the standards of the facility and professional healthcare regulations. Successful candidates will be expected to work with dedication, professionalism, and integrity while supporting patient care and community health services.
Qualification Requirements and Experience
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements depending on the position:
For Medical Laboratory Technician
- Diploma in Medical Laboratory / Diploma in Health Laboratory Sciences or related studies (MUST)
- Valid working license
- At least one (1) year of working experience
For Laboratory Assistant
- Certificate in Health Laboratory or related studies (MUST)
- Valid working license
- At least one (1) year of working experience
For Clinical Officer (CO)
- Relevant Diploma qualification (Clinical Medicine)
- Valid working license
- At least one (1) year of working experience
For Nurses (RN/EN)
- Relevant Nursing qualification (RN/EN)
- Valid working license
- At least one (1) year of working experience
Duties and Responsibilities (Medical Lab Technician & Laboratory Assistant)
The selected candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing high-level medical testing and analysis in laboratories and other clinical settings
- Recording data from medical tests and entering results into patients’ medical records
- Testing and analyzing body fluids such as blood, urine, and tissue samples
- Operating laboratory equipment such as microscopes, hematology machines, and automated cell counters
- Using automated equipment to analyze multiple samples at the same time
- Providing health education and counseling to patients and their families
- Ensuring proper documentation of patient care in medical records
- Submitting timely reports and preparing presentations/proposals when assigned
- Assisting colleagues whenever necessary
- Performing additional duties assigned by the Project Leader
