About the Learnership
This learnership is designed to train candidates to become Basic Pharmacist Assistants. You will gain hands-on experience in a real pharmacy environment, while studying towards registration with the South African Pharmaceutical Council (SAPC). Once you successfully complete the programme and qualify, you may be considered for permanent employment at Dis-Chem.
What You Will Learn
During this programme, learners will:

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with patient queries and follow-ups
- Handle call centre support and script tracking
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance in the dispensary
- Report stock shortages and errors
Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must:
- Have Grade 12 (Matric)
- Have Pure Mathematics
- Have Physical Science or Life Science
- Achieve at least 50% average
- Be willing to work in a retail pharmacy environment
