Duties and Responsibilities
The YES Learners will support administrative and monitoring activities within Clover’s Secondary Distribution operations. Their responsibilities may include monitoring driver route compliance and checking whether drivers follow their planned routes using the Daily Route Management system. Other duties include:
- Escalating unauthorised stops to the relevant manager
- Reporting speeding incidents
- Monitoring excessive vehicle idling
- Reporting vehicles entering restricted or no-go zones
- Reporting harsh braking and other driving incidents
- Monitoring delivery delays
- Monitoring stop turnaround times
- Comparing planned kilometres with actual kilometres travelled
- Monitoring driving hours and standing time
- Checking route sequence compliance
- Monitoring vehicle-to-route assignments
- Assisting with route allocation handovers
- Handing over unresolved calls and queries to the next shift
Daily Route Management Responsibilities
- Learners may also work with the Daily Route Management system and assist with the preparation and monitoring of operational information.
- This may include checking DRM reports used during driver debriefing, reporting incorrect geo-fencing, monitoring inactive routes and acknowledging non-reporting units.
- Learners may also be required to extract daily reports and assist with preparing weekly and monthly reports for the Project Manager.
- This provides exposure to both administrative processes and logistics operations.
