We specialize in elegant, high-quality bridal gowns, engagement dresses, evening wear, party gowns, and accessories for life’s most memorable occasions. The company operates three branches—two in Dar es Salaam and one in Mwanza. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Boutique Manager to oversee daily operations and drive business performance, Boutique Manager – Wedding & Party Gown Wear at Lucy Bridal Solution.

Position Overview
The Boutique Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our wedding and party gown boutiques. The role requires strong leadership, retail management expertise, regulatory compliance knowledge, and strategic thinking to ensure business growth and exceptional customer experience.

The role includes direct supervision of shopkeepers and sales teams
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Staff Supervision & Leadership (20%)
- Lead, coach, and supervise sales teams to uphold service excellence
- Develop duty rosters to ensure coverage during peak hours and wedding seasons
- Conduct staff performance reviews and identify development needs
- Organize training on product knowledge, sales skills, customer service, and gown handling
- Foster teamwork, motivation, and accountability
- Manage staff discipline, attendance, and workplace conduct
- Design incentive and reward programs to boost performance
2. Tax & Regulatory Compliance (20%)
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations
- Oversee accurate sales invoicing and financial documentation
- Maintain proper records for tax reporting and audits
- Ensure timely renewal of business licenses, permits, and registrations
- Supervise handling of customer payments, deposits, and refunds
3. Inventory & Stock Management (20%)
- Manage inventory receiving, storage, tracking, and reporting
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile variances
- Analyze sales trends and forecast seasonal demand
- Set reorder levels for fast-moving accessories and gowns
- Minimize stock loss, damage, and shrinkage
4. Market Expansion & Customer Acquisition (20%)
- Develop strategies to attract new market segments and diverse wedding traditions
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis
- Represent the brand at bridal shows, expos, and community events
- Implement customer referral and loyalty programs
- Build relationships with corporate and event clients
- Identify service expansion opportunities based on customer feedback
5. Marketing & Sales Growth (10%)
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Manage and grow the boutique’s social media platforms
- Coordinate professional photoshoots for marketing materials
- Maintain a customer database for targeted promotions
- Develop digital content such as styling tips and wedding guides
- Collaborate with local media for brand visibility
6. Owner Representation & Reporting (10%)
- Represent the owner in operational matters when required
- Handle escalated customer issues professionally
- Attend industry, networking, and community events
- Liaise with landlords, suppliers, and service providers
- Prepare and submit monthly performance and operational reports
- Uphold the brand image, values, and reputation
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or related field (Required)
- Vocational training in fashion, styling, or beauty is an added advantage
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail management
- Experience in bridal, luxury fashion, formal wear, beauty, or events industry preferred
- Knowledge of fashion trends and garment construction
- Bilingual skills are an added advantage
